Thea by Arclinea

The new product by Arclinea designed by Antonio Citterio presents an architectural vision of the kitchen space with details that become style elements

Arclinea presents a new furnishing system, designed by Antonio Citterio, which is strictly connected to the company’s history and philosophy, starting with the name, the same as the first Arclinea kitchen created in the 1960s. In Thea, details and materials combine together in a pure and refined design created on the basis of an in-depth study of ergonomics and new lifestyles.

The architecture, in fact, physically and conceptually separates the kitchen into two environments: the purely functional space, the Wet Kitchen, and the convivial space, the Show Kitchen. This creates a large, extremely livable space, divided by the NTF black ash wood wall, with a coplanar door integrated into the new Frame System, which acts both as a containment and as a passage between the two areas. At the same time, it becomes an elegant boiserie, which enhances the island at the center of the space.

The Wet Kitchen represents the functional service kitchen, a perfectly equipped workplace, but at the same livable and usable, bright and warm. The project, on three sides, emphasizes spaces and equipment.
