Blade/Groove, the new living program by Modulnova, designed by Carlo Presotto and Andrea Bassanello, was created to shape interiors with an elegant, timeless design, where fine materials and technical innovation come together in bespoke furnishing solutions.
At the heart of the project are Brown Raw Oak, Gold Pearl stoneware, and Bronze Dust metallic lacquer, crafted with artisanal precision and enhanced by integrated, indirect lighting. The Blade/Groove system includes suspended base units, bookcases, and equipped tall units, among which the striking Blade storage column stands out. Made of honeycomb aluminum only 1 cm thick, it can create floor-to-ceiling paneling up to six meters high, combining extraordinary lightness with stability.
A distinctive feature is the Cocktail column, equipped with glass-holder shelves, a bar counter, and a wine cooler, all concealed by the Ghost opening system and Groove fluted doors. These create a three-dimensional effect while elegantly masking the joints between different elements.
The composition is completed by Gold Pearl stoneware back panels with a Rain finish, evoking delicate bas-relief waves, and the Brera bookcase, featuring slim metal uprights and wooden shelves, for an ensemble of refined, lightweight volumes.
