Cocùn is a cozy refuge, a soft embrace, a seating system designed to envelop and welcome anyone who sits. With this project, Antonio Citterio explores an idea of fluid, free comfort, creating a modular sofa that transforms into a true archipelago of possibilities.
The system consists of five distinct modules: one rectangular, two curved daybeds, a chaise longue, and a corner module. Thanks to their versatility, the elements can be combined freely to create countless configurations, adapting naturally to both large spaces and more intimate environments.
The design of Cocùn combines contemporary elegance with embracing lines: the upholstered base conveys visual lightness, while the backrest, connected to the base via discreet steel brackets covered in fabric or leather, provides ergonomic support without interrupting the fluidity of the forms.
Precious materials and sophisticated details complete the project: the aluminum profile of the base adds a touch of refinement, while the generous cushions provide enveloping comfort, turning every seat into a unique sensory experience. Cocùn invites relaxation and social interaction, making every living space welcoming and harmonious.
