Launched in 1988, the Italia model marks the beginning of the collaboration with Antonio Citterio, who later became the artistic director and designer of the entire collection. From its inception, Italia brought the aesthetic approach and solutions typical of professional kitchens into the home, anticipating features and functionalities that would only become popular years later: the distinctive handle, predominant use of steel, wider worktops equipped with cast-iron burners and double sinks, suspended hoods, and the unique double-island configuration.
While retaining its original spirit, over the years Italia has introduced innovative details, improved appliance performance, and more refined finishes, continuing to meet the demand for maximum functionality without compromising on design.
